Discussion: themes/tropes you don't like. We all have themes/tropes that we revisit a lot in our writing but what about the ones we don't like.

Are there themes/tropes that you dislike?

The one theme/trope that I don't like is characters as children because going back and writing pre-canon doesn't grab me at all, even if there are options for past, AU, de-aged etc.

I told myself I was going to create a sensible priority list, but instead I just wrote a blog post about it. And then I ate ginger snaps.

It was a typical crazy Tuesday so I am tired and sitting here playing computer games instead of writing. However, I may make an attempt to get motivated shortly.

I actually can't think of a theme/trope at the moment that I particularly dislike.
