WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Wednesday

It's Wednesday and we're halfway through the week! What kind of a writing day has it been for you?

• I thought about my fic once or twice
• I wrote
• I did some planning and/or research
• I edited
• I've sent my fic off to my beta
• I posted today!
• I'm taking a break
• I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion: Do you write original fic?  If not, do you think you will ever do so?

I'm on vacation starting today, so I have big plans for getting caught up on all my writing projects.  Today in particular should be a good day for doing some writing -- hopefully I'll stay motivated and actually do some!

I do not write original fic.  From time to time I think about it, but at this point, it's easier and more enjoyable for me to write about the characters and the world that someone else has already built for me!

I'm still writing for shipswap (for me, this will be a long assignment, and I should strive to complete this long assignment in a week or so because I also signed up for rarewomen and casestory). I also posted a short fic for my trope_bingo square. (Just on AO3 right now, but will post to my journal later this morning or early afternoon.)

I have written original fic in the past. Not sure if I want to write original fic in the future, though.

I'm editing a small article for SIAD (Self Injury Awareness Day)and I need to finish it so that it's ready to post on Saturday (when the event is). Once it's done I'll be working on my bullying fic for a prompt I hate and at some point getting a little motivation from somewhere (anywhere) to finally cross-post some recent prompt fills to AO3.

I've tried original fic a few times but it's not something I want to write. I'm more invested in my fandoms because I'm working with characters I know and love.
