Is anyone up for the WIP challenge next month?

Hello from an accidental lurker. I had wanted to participate in these from the start, but life has been complicated. Better late than never?

Level of challenge: I would like to complete one new story of at least 5,000 words.
Fandom(s) involved: Gundam Wing
What you're looking for from the challenge: The daily check-in posts to keep me accountable are the most important thing for me. Someone to look over a final draft to tell me if it's decent would be a bonus, but given my limitations (see below), I do not expect anything I cannot reciprocate.
What you could offer other participants yourself: My life is a giant ball of horrible craziness right now, so I cannot offer much reliably. In general, I can try to field specific language based questions folks may have. I love usage, grammar, and punctuation. I can't offer anything like a line edit though. :(

So I've been just about the worst participant ever but damn it, I'm going to try again! Will probably remain an uneven poster though because my health is so uneven, but I'm going to make an effort to be more present this month than I've been before.

Late, but commenting here for completeness.

Level of challenge: Start writing down the stories I tell myself in my head, instead of going "oh, the style has to be different/more polished/nobody else would want to read that". (This is a very late New Year's resolution of mine.) Also go through my WIP folder and do some revising/posting.

Fandom(s) involved: Deep Space Nine, Legend, maybe Doctor Who or Stargate SG-1, probably some others I haven't noticed yet.

What you're looking for from the challenge: The daily check-in posts! Huzzah! Also people to say if my stuff's any good aka beta reading (I'll ask).

What you could offer other participants yourself: Beta reading, cheerleading, randomly popping in on check-in threads.
