Discussion: reading fic. When you get behind on reading fic do you ever feel guilty? Do you delete bookmarks because you know you won't have the time to read?



I am a very slow reader so I tend to not feel too guilty when it comes to falling behind on any of my reading and with fic I only really get chance to read it when I make the long journey down to England and I usually have several saved to my phone as PDF files.

I've been fairly productive this week. Today I went to the dentist and now I'm feeling pretty out of it, so I only managed some editing and the posting of the edited chapter. But it was a nice long chapter and it's getting some good comments, so I'm pleased!

I don't feel guilty in particular about my haphazard reading habits. My reading goes in spurts, and I'm usually reading stuff that I've saved to my phone or my tablet. I feel more guilty about being a writer who doesn't update often enough for my readers to follow me easily! I wonder if anyone has deleted my stories from their bookmarks...? ;-)
