How's the writing going for you today?
Discussion: to-do lists. Do you ever make to-do lists for your writing? Daily life? Are they useful? Are they too distracting?
Although I try not to make to-do lists for my writing because most of the time I manage to get done everything I set out to do even on long fics, and I only use them in my daily life when it's close to pay day so that can get all my bills for the month in order.

Date: Friday, April 4th, 2014 13:28 (UTC)I am a serious maker of to-do lists. I make them for everything in my daily life and find them very helpful. Rather than being distracting, they remind me of what needs doing and what things are most urgent, as well as which things I have a tendency to procrastinate on (those are the things that keep getting put on the list but don't get done!). I am able to work more effectively when I am working from a to do list. My to do lists for my writing are my outlines.
