Is there anything that you think makes your writing distinctive? That is, are there themes you return to over and over, are there phrases you use frequently?

I seem to like writing about people in situations where there are no good choices. It's not a constant thing, but it does come up over and over. As to phrases-- I know I say 'subjective eternity' a bit too often. I'm not sure about anything else.
