WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 28 -- Monday

Greetings on Monday!  Where I am, it's rainy outside and unusually cold for the end of April -- a dreary day!  What kind of a day is it for you?  How is the writing going today?

Discussion:  Weather -- does the weather outside affect how you do at writing?  What kind of weather inspires you?  Does the weather ever discourage you so that you can't write?

I'm thinking about my fic and feeling frustrated that my week is very busy with not much free time to move forward with my writing plan.

I am not usually influenced too much by weather, though I think that when it's dreary out, I tend to want to write more because it's no fun being outside.  There is also the advantage of not having the bright sun shining on my computer screen!  ;-)  It's rare that the weather outside cooperates with the kind of weather I am writing about in my fic on a particular day, but it does help my writing if I can look out the window and see the kind of conditions I'm trying to describe!

I'm usually not affected by the weather. I write primarily at night.

I wrote this morning. I need to write more if I'm to finish this story by the deadline on Sunday. I'm fighting with this one.

I spent most of my day dealing with a frustrating legal matter. I've done a little editing on my unconventionalcourtship fic since I got home buy it's slow going and changing the hit and run injuries my character has to non-fatal is proving to be tricky.

Weather doesn't bother me too much.

Trying to get together a sensible draft for my beta so I've been writing/editing...wrediting? It's going ok. Weather, only if we're talking it being so bad that it's massively uncomfortable indoors. Too hot to concentrate, or too cold to leave the blankets. Which did happen a couple times this winter, fun times. :)
