Do you like to talk about your stories as you write (or your story ideas as you prepare to write) or does doing that kill the story for you?
I love talking about what I'm working on. I find it helps me clarify what I'm doing and builds my enthusiasm for the project. I particularly like having a first reader, someone to whom I can show snippets as I go along.
