Hello on Wednesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today?

•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  Success -- how do you define a successful day of writing?

A successful day of writing for me consists of doing something that moves my story along. It may be limited to simply thinking about it or jotting down a note, but if I manage even just that much during the course of a busy week, I feel good. A SUPER successful day, however, is one where I actually put words together and write something that produces an actual word count. ;-)

Finished my fic! Taking a break, possibly thinking about starting another one.

If I can get through a scene, I'd consider a day of writing successful.

I got some writing done while I was travelling today.

A day is successful when something is finished, having a few minutes during the same day for posting is just a bonus.
