Hello on Friday! What kind of a writing day has it been today?
I have a favorite character I love to write, and it's not a problem to think of things to write involving that character. Recently, however, I surprised myself when choosing a prompt for a challenge -- one choice was a really appealing prompt that involved my character, yet I chose a different one involving another character who is starting to appeal to me. I almost felt like I needed a break from the "main guy" for a change. Even so, I expect my favorite to make an appearance in the prompt somewhere, even if he's not featured. And that other prompt is still available, so I may have to go claim it, as well!
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Date: Friday, June 6th, 2014 15:41 (UTC)I'm on a writing streak. On Wednesday I started a spreadsheet to track my goals and progress on a longform fic. I don't usually get that organized, so it'll be an interesting experiment. Today's goal is 100 words. Deliberately modest.
