Do you have ideas for stories you'll never write or won't write for a long time? How do you deal with story ideas that you don't have time for? Do you keep track of them for later?
I have a file of prompts that I thought I could write to but that I haven't had the time and/or motivation to work on. Most of them, I know I'll never touch. I have too many partially written stories to be willing to embark on something else unless I'm sure I'll finish it (that's why exchanges work for me. I'm sure to finish something for those). I've got fragments of about a dozen different novel length stories. I write so slowly that I'll likely never get to most of them, and I regret that.
Today's likely to be a no writing day for me. My fifth grader is graduating today, and I have to help set up for it. That'll take most of the afternoon, and I spent the morning in the school library. I'm just home long enough to post this and get something to eat.
