Discussion: momentum. When the words are flowing effortlessly do you try to find a stopping point? Do you wait until you've finished what you're working on? Something in-between?
I spent several hours today working on turning an old snippet fic into a oneshot and I finally finished it a little while ago. When momentum is in my favour I tend to keep going for a long as I can and even then I'll only take short breaks to have a drink or a snack.
