I am unashamed to say that there's been no fic written by me today--Thursday is my late night home, so this is usual.

I finished 3 fics this month (though I'm not a longfic writer, so don't get too excited ;) -- looking back at my signup I said I wanted to finish 2, so yay for me! I also see that I didn't specify that one of them HAD to be my

poetry_fiction one, just that it'd be nice if it was, so... I feel less disappointed that this was a fic that did not get finished this month.

I still feel like my brain is decompressing from having written that much fic in (for me) a short space of time, but I hope I can get back in the swing of things for April's challenge.

I managed to write another 1,000 Big Bang words today, and edited the previous 2,500. Not as much as I had hoped for, but I'm happy with it!

As usual, I bit off more than I could chew this month, though I might have been able to manage it if the Real World hadn't been so beastly in March. I did not manage to finish the fic I had hoped to finish, nor did I write a new chapter in my other fic. I did manage a total of 3,500 words for my Big Bang, however, and while this was not the 5,000 words I was hoping for, I feel quite good about what I was able accomplish. I wrote and edited 3,500 words that are pretty much set and usable, which is definitely not to be scoffed at!

3500 words is DEFINITELY something to be proud of!

Also, I think your point about not technically making your goal but still making good, solid progress is really important! For the past two months of the challenge I haven't finished the fic I was hoping to finish, but I wrote some other fic that I'm really happy w/, which is good too. It's been really valuable just to have writing fic be something I am reminded of daily & am frequently thinking of!

In other news, I've been sick again, but I did get some writing done on this day! There's this short fluffy fic that I've had some weird trouble with (weird as in 'how can that be trouble in the first place'), but I think I know where to take it now. Otherwise I've used most of my writing time in recording my thoughts, but I will try to get back to that productive writing swing again. I will try very hard!
