Greetings! linaewen here to provide encouragement and discussion as we end one month of writing and begin a new one! What kind of a writing day has it been today?

•     I did some planning and/or research

•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion: Priorities -- Is writing a priority for you?  How much time do you devote to it?  Do you have the amount of time available to you for writing that you wish you had? If not, do you have any ideas on how to make more time available to yourself?

Writing is not the high priority it used to me for me -- not that I don't think about it a lot and feel guilty when I am not writing -- but I am just not getting it done due to my schedule. I am extremely busy with my work, but I know I would have more time available for writing if I managed my time differently, because my work schedule is somewhat flexible and I do a lot of it from home. I'm hoping to do some evaluating of how to better manage my time, like figuring out when my best writing time is during the day, and adjusting as much as I can to make writing a higher priority.

I'm rereading a fic, trying to figure out whether I can somehow redraft it into something more solid. It's hard.
