Hello on Friday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion: Editing -- Do you edit as you write?  Or do you write a first draft and then go back to edit it?

I edit as I write, which does slow me down in actually producing something, but I like doing it that way.  Editing involves finding just the right word as well as getting the grammar and the tone right.  I also go back and edit again several times before finally posting.
