Today is snippet day. Post a little bit of what you're working on. This is also the place to ask for beta readers and other help.

I need someone to help me out with a Weiss Kreuz fic. I'm stalled out in the middle of chapter two and need to plan out some combat, something I'm not very good at doing. I don't think knowledge of Weiss Kreuz is necessary.

I did very well today, finishing a chapter and generally feeling good about story progress. Looking forward a lot to a scene in the next chapter. I am also still looking for a cheerleader, someone to read along and push me to keep writing at a steady pace.

This is my excerpt:

She had just about made up her mind that maybe she'd already had enough to drink when she heard a series of soft clicks and turned to see the haughty dominatrix approaching the bar. Everything about her spoke of someone who lived to be served. She ordered a drink with barely a glance at the man behind the counter and turned to survey the room as though from a towering balcony, tapping her fingernails against the polished mahogany of the counter. Somehow she managed to look both impatient and idly bored.
