Discussion: sharing/announcements. After you've posted a new fic or a chapter of a WIP, do you share links to it in other places? What about other people sharing links?

I sometimes share a link to new things on my Twitter page but only when I remember to do it which isn't very often. I used to do small announcements on LJ when I had my main journal on there but I stopped doing that because I ended up with an unmanageable flist due to people only friending me for my fic. I'm not too bothered about other people sharing links on to my fic on other sites, even the ones I don't use like Tumblr and Facebook, because I see it as a signal boost, so to speak.

It's turning in to one of those days where it's all RL and work. I do hope to have a little time to write this evening because I have a nice openeing scene for chapter six of Let Me Fade to try out. Last night I posted three new chapters to that WIP, and this morning there are mistakes that escaped me in editing. Dammit.
