Discussion:  Thinking positively today -- what was one good thing that happened today that encouraged you (writing or otherwise)?

I'm essentially taking a break in my writing; I'm not happy about it, but it's being forced on me.  RL has control of my time at the moment, so my writing is on hold.  Even when I do get a bit of time to write, I procrastinate!  I'm looking forward to next week, when I have some real time off -- writing fic will be my main occupation next week!

My day is just beginning, so I don't have a good thing to report as yet, but I'm sure there will be something to add later in the day! Who knows? In spite of it being a crazy Tuesday, maybe I'll even get a bit of writing in today! :-)

Today I got my appointment for minor surgery arranged for the beginning of September, I can cope for a few more weeks with a poorly toe.

I'm reading through the edits I did yesterday and I'm finding more mistakes but it's better than finding them after I've posted. I'd like to get this chapter posted by the end of the week.
