Hello on Monday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today?
I prefer writing male characters. For one thing, the fandoms I've been writing in tend not to have that many key female characters so it has been necessary to write the male characters and I've been able to establish a good "rapport" with them. I have been trying to do better at writing female characters recently, however, and I'm happy with them. They are more difficult for some reason than male characters!
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Date: Monday, October 27th, 2014 15:02 (UTC)I think I write more male characters than female characters. I haven't counted, though, and I suspect that the ratio is closer to even if I don't count my explicit fic. I'm less likely to write something dark or explicit from the point of view of a woman.
