WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 3 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today?

• I thought about my fic once or twice
• I wrote
• I did some planning and/or research
• I edited
• I've sent my fic off to my beta
• I posted today!
• I'm taking a break
• I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  If you are a writer who likes to include a lot of details, what kind of details do you favor? Scenery? Physical descriptions of your characters? Sounds, colors or expressions?

I mostly describe the scenery when concentrating on details, as well as sounds and sometimes expressions.  However, I seem to not dwell much on physical descriptions of my characters.

Option #1 again, but I did do an unrelated short 'fic, at least.

Discussion: I usually start out a written passage with a particular mental image, and I try to describe that as perfectly as I can, though this is usually restricted to the scene and what the characters are doing in it. I try to avoid being overly descriptive of the characters themselves, especially when writing erotica; that tends to disrupt the pacing.
