Sorry I missed the last few days, things have gone crazy in rl.
Anyway, how is the writing going today?
Discussion: Humour. Do like writing humour? Is it something you find difficult?
I love humour and most things thatal are comedic in tone but I can't write the funny to save my life. I have tried to write it a few times with varying levels of success but it's not one of my strengths.

Date: Thursday, January 8th, 2015 22:20 (UTC)I can usually include some humorous elements in my stories, but I have not often set out to write something meant to be funny from the beginning. I can really only manage it properly when I put characters who are usually very serious into humorous situations, but even then, my success varies.

Date: Friday, January 9th, 2015 00:19 (UTC)I used to disdain humour, but, as I've gotten older (and maybe a little wiser), I've learned that a little levity can really help a story, though I don't think I've done too many things that are complete comedy.
