Tiiiiiny bit of editing: I think if I'm not just churning out lots of words for a first draft, I just don't get much done if it's not the weekend. I did write 800+ words for the same new fic that was catching my attention for the past two days, ahahaha.

Three words: I'll get there...

Bleh. I can't seem to focus on it; I'm more interested in sorting out stupid computer problems.

This is particularly silly since my computer (the one with the writing-sized keyboard) is currently running a memory test that I plan to leave running for about 20 hours, so if I wanted to write it'd be the perfect time.

I'll try to do something before bed, even if it's just put a comma in somewhere.

I'm a bit more on track than I have been for a long time, but it won't take much to bump me back into being behind schedule. But I'm enjoying feeling on top of things while I can. ;-)

Today I did some editing and plan to do some more before the day is done. All my written words so far were part of the editing process.

Three words: Back on track!

I have an idea for a title! Yay!

Other than that, I feel like I haven't got that much actual writing done despite the 2k of the last two days. It's mainly more outlining of missing scenes and playing around with the ending and will need a lot of editing. All in all, I'm still okay with it because I'm only minorly behind on my schedule.

What I really enjoy at the moment is how these little details turn up every time I sit down to write. Even when scenes have been hanging in my head for days, just waiting to be written down, the act of writing produces completely unexpected details that make everything so much more palpable. And that's nice :)

Oooh! I keep on doing that as well!! :D This fic has been in my head for weeks and months and a scene becomes clearer the closer I get. Sometimes I even write most of the scene on paper first and when I type little things STILL pop up and it's all, "IDK where THAT came from but I LIKE it! /o/"

I was assailed by (yet another) bunny for the Blind Go challenge. I doubt I have time to write it, not with the main Blind Go fic I'm writing AND the Remix, but I did do some research on it and it looks workable. The Kifu Archive (blind go support comm) mods put up an bunny adoption thread for Blind Go but I'm not ready to let it go yet.

Also I have a cold, its making me slow at things and I'm panicking about editing the remix fic. A lot was really written in 'autopilot' and needs kicking into shape.

They've also started a drabble thread at the kifu archive, and so I went and wrote one for the first prompt and got beaten to it for posting, plus my 'drabble' is way too long for 100w. Now what do I do with it?

I think I better stop taking the bait for distractions. Still, between these things I wrote 300 woards.

Also, I joined 750 words, as suggested by [personal profile] littlebutfierce. I'll have to see if it suits me, as I tend to write mostly on paper first.
