How has your Tuesday gone so far?  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday if you haven't started your writing day as yet?
  • I thought about my fic once or twice
  • I wrote
  • I did some planning and/or research
  • I edited
  • I've sent my fic off to my beta
  • I posted today!
  • I'm taking a break
  • I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
For Discussion:  Does your writing brain work overtime when it's next to impossible to write it all down?  What are some ways you deal with inspiration that comes in the night or while you are driving, or at some other time when you aren't in your usual writing place?

I've more than once posted a fic, or chapter of a fic, at some ridiculous time of day, like half-two in the morning. I think insomnia is responsible for quite a bit of inspiration and ficcage.

What I find the most frustrating is the opposite of the Fanfic Flamingo's thing here - Going to bed and knowing exactly how the fic or chapter will play out, opening the doc and not being able to get more than a sentence or so written. I think most of my current WIPs is (are?) due to this.
