Discussion: Do you write best with a consistent schedule, or do you squeeze it in when you have the time or inspiration?

I dealt with life today (work, work, work), and I'm running out of March, but I'm not out of the game just yet.

I try to write with a consistent schedule, but it regularly gets wrecked, so I try to hoard my inspiration and use it as soon as time becomes available. ... That doesn't always work, either.

I tried to write, but I hit a roadblock. I've now reached the point of my story (for Heroine Big Bang) where I want to scrap what I've written and start again because I screwed up on a little detail that's vital to my story. That and it's hard for me to work on a story if I take at least a day off from it.

I also haven't started on my Shipswap story. I should do that.

I usually write whenever.
