Discussion: Do your plot bunnies ever take you places you're uncomfortable writing (like sensitive/triggering topics, or more violence than you prefer)? Would you write them anyway, or skim over the upsetting part, or change the plot to something more pleasant?

I'm still not writing. It's hard to focus.

I tend to find writing dark stuff, up to a point, easier than writing fluff. I'm terrible at writing fluff. I think I've done it more or less successfully a couple of times. I've written dark fairly successfully much more often.

I do, though, have trouble writing fight scenes. I have a couple of plot bunnies that are on the back burner because I don't see how I can write them without fight scenes.

I've not run into uncomfortable situations too often (that are so uncomfortable it's hard to write), but when I do, I tend to skim it or imply as much as possible without going into detail. That said, I'm facing a difficult battle in one of my stories, which has me totally stalled. The battle itself is hard enough to write, but a situation that comes up in the midst of the battle has the potential to be just this kind of situation -- I'm wondering how I will deal with it when it finally gets to that point.
