On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is the ultimate good, my writing this past week has been basically a 1. Real Life work and projects take up a lot of time and brain power, and most days there is nothing left -- or at least I feel like there is nothing left. I think if I would not allow myself to feel I am too tired to write, and just start doing it when I have a block of time free, I would be able to make progress.

Today my goal is to put writing first, and let those other projects wait, that are still lurking and threatening to take up all my free time.

Real life here, too. Yesterday was my double, and I just now dumped a bunch of brain power into a job application. Depending on how that goes, this might end up being a very good week indeed. ... For now, though, I've got candy shopping to do. x_X

No writing today, but a lot of thinking.

I finished the chapter I was working on today and put it into Google docs so that my first reader can take a look. I don't know when they're going to have time, but I'll be hoping to hear something soon.

I'd post a snippet, but the whole chapter is kind of squicky and requires massive warnings.

Though, if anybody's interested in a dark Harry Potter AU (diverging during Half-Blood Prince), I wouldn't mind an additional set of eyes taking a look at this thing. I have six chapters so far, about 30,000 words.
