Discussion: When you write, do you prefer to focus completely on that? Or do you like to multitask (watch TV, listen to music, play solitaire between paragraphs...)?

I have been traveling, so no writing had happened as yet. I'm in one place for a whole day tomorrow, so we'll see what happens tomorrow!

I do listen to music while I write (instrumental with no singing), but I cannot concentrate if the tv is on. I often do research in the midst of writing, which can sometimes lead me away from writing instead of adding to it, but other than music, I can't really multitask while I'm writing.
