Discussion topic: How about time of day for writing? I used to write in the mornings, but I seem to be switching my schedule to later in the day for everything, including writing.

I prefer to write late at night but over the last couple of months I've taken to writing whenever I can because my work pattern is so varied that apart from my day off, I can't set a specific time to write the rest of the week.

I made a slow start at editing my fic for unconventionalcourtship which would have been finished had I not decided to scrap the entire story and start again with less than a week before my posting date.

Time of day? ... Whenever I'm home, ideally. I don't get to pick and choose on that point.

I used to do best writing in the evening, and sometimes went late into the night if it was going well and I saw that I could finish. However, when I write at all these days, it seems that morning is better.
