WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 27 -- Monday

It's Monday! How is it going today in your world of writing? Have you had a successful time, or has it been less successful than you had hoped? Did any of the following happen today or yesterday:

• totally ignoring writing in order to do something else?

Do any of you have multiple WIPs that you are working on?  How true is this flamingo-ism -- do you have a tendency to stick with a WIP until it is finished before starting something new, or do you have a finger in many different pies?

More research happened yesterday, but it didn't result in writing. It's a good example of this FFFlamingo, though, because the research was for a new story, while 3 WIPs sit in my writing folder that are well on their way to being epics (but I tend not to work on them) as well as probably 2 others that are in the planning stages. So my finger is in many pies -- I don't mind having lots of WIPs going, but I need to do better at moving them ALL forward.

I have several WIPs that I'm working on/supposed to be working on. I had set a goal to have everything "caught up" by Jan. 1, 2017, but I'm getting very little writing done.

I did write 5 pages on one of them last night and this morning. I need to sit down and do more planning, and more actual writing. I need more consistency.

PS. You've probably covered this before, and I am extremely behind on my dreamwidth email/inbox, but out of curiosity, what do you do for planning stages?

I have WIPs just now and I hardly ever had them before. I still have my ongoing chapter fic for a bingo and several oneshots lingering, mostly for challenges and way overdue.

I've been writing a little the last few days and I have a deadline on Wednesday so I really need to step up a couple of gears and get that fic finished. It doesn't help that said fic was only restarted last week after I decided to do something different. Fail.
