[personal profile] linaewen posting in [community profile] writethisfanfic
Hello on Wednesday! Sorry about missing yesterday; I was traveling and by the time I got home and settled, it was pretty late to be posting for Tuesday!

What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?
  •     I thought about my fic once or twice
  •     I wrote
  •     I did some planning and/or research
  •     I edited
  •     I've sent my fic off to my beta
  •     I posted today!
  •     I'm taking a break
  •     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Discussion: Do you make an effort to write every day? If so, what kind of habits help you stick to that goal? What helps and what doesn't? (I'm asking selfishly, because I need help with this!)

I'm still trying to decide what to write for Remix. I have three options, and all three have pluses and minuses. I've got to get started because stories are due the 21st (or maybe the 20th. I have to check).

I haven't written every day since some time in March, right around when [community profile] metanews became a very large job. I want to get back to writing most days and confine [community profile] metanews to two days a week, but I'm having a lot of trouble doing it.

Busy day today, so I dealt with life. See, I try to write every day, but there are days when I know from the get-go that it's probably not going to happen.

Right now I'm back to trying to write every day, or rather five days a week. I am only just starting this experiment, and so unsure of how it will go. I am also switching my focus to try and get a better balance between fanfic and original material.
