Does music help you write? Do you need silence or do you like background noise?
I like having something playing in the background while I write, either music or something on TV that doesn't require my full attention (PBS Kids' shows are surprisingly good for this). I try to make playlists for long writing projects, but I'm never entirely happy with them.

Date: Sunday, June 7th, 2015 20:37 (UTC)I pretty much need music to get and stay focused. It has to be music without singing or words, however. I have a batch of music I play on a loop that seems to work for me, or I listen to an internet radio station that has the kind of stuff that inspires.
