Discussion: momentum. When the words are flowing do you decide when to stop or do you keep on going until you're finished.

I started feeling bad yesterday, and I feel even worse today, so I've been zombie-ing my way through work and trying to rest as much as I can. Not sure what it is, but I'll try to pick up the ball again as soon as I can.

Momentum! If I've got it, I try to keep going until it's all used up. Don't know if that's the best approach, but my record for being on a roll is 12,000 words in a day. ... I think my brain implode after that. x_X Don't know if I could manage it nowadays.

I will usually keep going once I get my momentum, and won't stop until I either finish or I know I can pick it up again easily after stopping.
