Date: Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 21:58 (UTC)I've completed one chapter fic a couple of years ago and that was quite easy because it was an idea that I kept going back to before I took the plunge and wrote it. I've got an in-progress and currently stalled chapter fic and I'm struggling to get myself motivated to work on it and at some point actually finish it even though it's centred around something(s) that I wanted to see happen within canon.

Date: Saturday, July 18th, 2015 03:10 (UTC)I used to do nothing but chaptered 'fics. But, as I have noted here before, the ratio of reviews / comments to words typed was so pathetic that I pretty much stopped doing 'fics that way. (When your most popular pieces are porn you wrote anonymously, you need to think very seriously about your approach to these things.) Nowadays, my goal is to start doing chaptered stuff again after all these years of one-shots.
