What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Yesterday got away from me, hopefully today will be better planned and implemented so that writing happens.

I have written a couple of short one shots in First Person POV -- I don't prefer it, but sometimes it is an effective way to deal with a particular vignette. I generally use Third Person limited, but I switch points of view between different important characters (not in the same paragraph, however!). I use section breaks to differentiate between the multiple "narrators".

I actually like writing in 2nd person POV despite it getting a lot of flack. Generally though, because I know it urks some people I try to restrict my use of it to Homestuck fics. But sometimes it slips into other fandoms, oops. =3

The heat's been dreadful and I've done nothing much today, alas.

I do lean heavily towards limited third, such that even when I start with an omniscient narrator sometimes I drift back to it. Lately, however, I've found myself feeling comfortable experimenting again, which requires more energy and a different kind of attention. In the last two-three months I've written both first person narrative and present tense. Both things I haven't tried in years.

Dealing with life again. Family car (parked) got swiped by a neighbor car (trying to park). Not too bad, as accidents go, but it's always a bit stressful to handle one of those.

I swear up and down by third person, but I've done first and second, too.
