WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 31 -- Monday

Greetings! linaewen here to help encourage you and provide you with a setting to talk about your writing this week as we finish up our August Challenge.

Sorry to miss the start of the week -- I was unexpectedly without internet all weekend, so I wasn't able to make a Sunday post.  Thanks to a new modem and router, I am back on track.  So, what kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion - Today is the last day of the month.  How did you do at accomplishing your writing goals for August?  Did you stay on track?  Mostly on track?  Way behind but hopeful you'll manage some writing today to end on a high note?  Resigned to the fact that you bit off more than you can chew this time around?  What do you plan to work on today that will help you accomplish your writing goals?

I managed one bit of writing this month, so my head is not totally bowed in shame. It was more in the line of editing an older piece that had never been posted and needed some major revision. I did not accomplish any of my declared goals for the month. However, today looks rather promising as a possible free-time-for-writing day, so hopefully I'll be able to at least start on one of my goals (which will also be my goal for next month!).

One more piece to do before I can feel satisfied with this month. Got a fresh head of steam towards the end, and that helped make up for a lot. *chuckles* But I'm all about September now!

I didn't accomplish any of my goals and they all involved posting. Definitely not on track but I can try next month to get something new up.

I travelled back to Aberdeen overnight and spent most of the day sleeping so I'm looking to tomorrow to start working on fic again. My brain is fuzzy.
