WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 3 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday!  Sorry to miss posting yesterday, I got side-tracked pretty much the whole day!  So, what kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion - How easy is it for you to get side-tracked when you are determined to write?  What kinds of things to you find yourself doing instead of writing?

None of my writing goals for the week are being accomplished, because I keep getting side-tracked. Other stuff is getting done, but there's never an end to the "other stuff" so I don't seem to be able to get back to the writing track. The main things that side-track me are RL work, the internet, and playing mindless games or watching videos because I'm "too tired" to write.

Today, I beta'd, and it was good. I think I might actually be better at editing than I am at writing, most days. @_@ Weekend coming up. I'll see if I can get back on track; it really feels like I've lost a lot of time this week for no reason at all.
