Discussion: Notebooks. I know that some people like to write longhand, and at the very least handwritten outlines, so do you use one notebook for all of your fic? Do you have a different notebook for each fandom? Do you type everything?

I got some writing done yesterday on my day off, I'm trying to get a decent handle on Peggy/Jack, my current OTP in Agent Carter fandom and it worked quite well. Not so much writing done today with having a really stupid rota for work.

I have so many notebooks and recently found even more than I expected to have when I tidied up the house. I tend to use one notebook for the fandoms that I write regularly and then have a general notebook for the fandoms that I only dip into occasionally. There are times, usually for drabbles that I'll type it straight off without much thought.

Wrote for Fan Flashworks today, so the rusty wheels in my head are starting to move, if only a little.

I type all of my actual writing, but I like to do my prewriting longhand. These days, I keep it in a spiral notebook, but I used to do it all in looseleaf and keep it in several binders.

No writing today, alas!

I used to have one notebook for writing long hand, and folders for each story/fandom with notes, etc. I didn't save the long hand writing once I had typed it up properly into a document. I still have all those folders, but most of the notes have been transferred to my computer. I find it much easier to type everything now, and only use longhand when I am away from my computer.
