It's Saturday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

I haven't gotten the early start I wanted to today, but I'm not going to stress out just yet. I'm planning to finish up a couple of projects that will distract me from writing if I don't get them out of the way, and then I'll dive into some writing. Here's hoping I accomplish something that has a word count!

I have a Big Bang due at mid-month, and I am traditionally awful at those, but I have solid prewriting, this time, and I get the feeling I will be able to make it work for once. Maybe. Hopefully October is not like September in the Real World Stress ™ department.

I'm thinking about fic, but I look at the screen and I don't know if I can make the words come.

It's also rather late at night for me. That doesn't help. I wish I could write at night like I used to. These used to be my best hours.

Same for me. I hated a lot of things about working on the third shift, and my health suffered because of it, but it was great for my creativity.

*sigh* It's not even a job thing, since I work from home. But I need to be available for all sorts of errands and chores, and that means being awake and alert during morning hours. Meh.
