"Unofficial" Check-in, Day 12 -- Thursday

I'm not the official check-in person this week, but I thought it would be fun to do an update on how I'm doing with writing, and wondered if others might have something encouraging to share about their writing, as well!

I have had little success writing lately due to my Real Life interfering, but I had a day off recently and I planned ahead to spend time writing.  It worked very well and I was able to write a whole piece from beginning to end and post it, in just a few hours.  Very encouraging to know that I still have it in me to write something!  Now I just need some more days off.  ;-)   The only new writing project I have is an upcoming Yule Fic, which isn't assigned yet -- the prompts will be posted next week.

How is it going with everyone else this week?

It's pub day for me today. I signed up for the DeanCas Big Bang and the only thing holding me back from posting is that I'm waiting for my art to get finished.

I have a WIP that I can work on but I have a bright and shiny idea that I don't really know a lot about distracting me.
