Discussion: seasonal fics. Do you write holiday centric fics? (Christmas, Hanukkah etc...) Do you avoid holiday fics?

Literally as soon as I commented gloomily about not writing yesterday, I found the prompt I needed and banged out about 1,600 words. *chuckles* Funny how that works. Going to try and write a bit more before I go to bed tonight.

I'm very closed to finished my query, synopsis, and 1st ten pages. they're in a friend's mailbox for review.

I've written about holidays, but the closest I've ever come to writing a holiday fic was this silly thing I wrote for Pride one year.

Wrote my minimum word count on my wip.

I rarely write holiday fics, but I like reading them just fine.

Well, I'm doing Yuletide this year for the second time, but the reason I can do that is because Hanukkah is such a non-holiday for me. The real holiday-related fest for me is in the spring, for Purim.
