WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 30 -- Thursday

Hello on Wednesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did some planning and/or research

•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion - Have you ever been asked to do a sequel for a story that you considered complete and never intended to continue?  How do you feel -- honored?  Annoyed?  Do such requests make you reconsider writing more?

I actually did some writing yesterday, but a lot more has to happen today -- my Yule Fic story must be complete and posted by midnight tonight. I shouldn't have a problem except for my general feeling of wanting to procrastinate and various interruptions that are messing with my concentration.

I've had a couple of situations where people asked for a sequel and I was surprised because I considered it a one-shot. Mostly I feel honored, but not necessarily ready to open up the story again. In one case I did make a folder for a possible continuation and did some research and took notes, but there won't be any writing done on that tale until my other projects get worked on.

I didn't write yesterday, but I finished a comic for my bingo card.

Today, I almost finished the current chapter on my WIP. I just need a nice final sentence or two.

No writing today. I slept too much during my normal writing period (early morning), and now I find I'm coming down with a stupid cold. *grumbles* On the up side, I'm pretty much done for the month with everything I wanted to do, so there's that.

Sequel requests? I'd be happy if somebody just read the originals, honestly.
