WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Friday

Hello on Friday and Happy New Year!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Discussion - Today is the first day of the new year.  Have you made any resolutions/goals about your writing?  Any plans you hope to implement that will make your writing better or more effective?

I haven't made any specific plans or resolutions as yet, though I am considering doing so and writing them down in an effort to make things happen this year. In general, I want to be more consistent in taking time to write every day and to work towards finishing up my multi-chapter WIPs that have been too long neglected. This month will also be a time to catch up on the backlog of challenge fics I have started but not finished. Nothing really different than my usual plans for my writing, but something about a new year makes me feel more motivated to finally make it happen!

I finished the third chapter of my WIP and started planning the next one.

I don't have any specific resolutions except to carry on with my WIP. It might turn out to be my longest fic ever and I find it quite hard to write at times, so I'm a little worried I'll stall halfway through.

Another double shift (after having a head full of sinus crap yesterday), so ... no writing today, but I have 365 days left, and this is the Year of the Monkey. My year. Going to write like crazy this year.
