And how has the month gone for you as a whole in the writing department?

I finally seized the day and got some writing done -- mostly because I had to report my word count for January for a challenge I'm participating in, and yesterday was my last chance to write and have it count for January! So I edited a previously written thing that wasn't complete, and added new words to finish it up. Posting will happen later. I've also been doing research for a fic I set aside ages ago and I'm trying to get back into it.

The month could have been worse -- being involved in a challenge where I report my word count every month has helped me to some extent to push through procrastination and write. There were still huge gaps where nothing happened, but I was actually thinking about my fic, at least.
