And here we are. February. Lots of things to see and do in February, but let's talk about the writing.
— Thinking. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.
— Writing.
— Planning and / or researching.
— Editing.
— Sending things to the beta.
— Posting!
— Relaxing, taking a break, etc.
— Other stuff-ing. Look at the comment.
Do you have any personal rituals to give yourself a "fresh start" on your writing, whether it be at the beginning of a new month or at any other chosen time?

Date: Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 05:07 (UTC)My usual practice for getting a new start is to review my outline or to reread some things I have written -- either previous chapters in the WIP I am attempting to work on, or some of my other short things that are related. Sometimes rereading an old fic is just helpful for reminding me that I've written some pretty decent stuff in the past, so I shouldn't lose heart!

Date: Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 07:55 (UTC)Fresh start is my cue right now after my unplanned break. I'm rereading/editing the first chapters of my WIP right now to get back on track. That's what I usually do, re-read what I've got so far.
