Discussion: As it's the end of the month, how have you got on with the goals you set? have you reached them? been sidetracked with a new project? been sidetracked with omething else?

Personally speaking I am glad that this month is over, it's been a rough time in RL. I did manage to post my chocolate box fic and got some nice feedback too and apart from that I mostly prodded at the fic backlog as well some notes/outline stage fics.

I dealt with life today -- trying to get back into a writing frame of mind before the day is done to see if I can get anywhere with anything. I never feel much like writing after a long day of dealing with life.

I did very little all month, so I did not reach any of my goals. I was busier with work and other aspects of Real Life than I expected this past month, so writing went on the back burner. Things picked up this past weekend, so the month was not totally wasted, but I'm definitely hoping March is better!

Leap Day! ... I'm ready to put February behind me, thank you. Just hasn't been a lucky month for writing.

I'm working on my NaNo project again, which feels good. Finished a chapter last night.

Thought some more about the next chapter.

February was a slow month, writing-wise. But at least I managed to edit one chapter into an okay state and finish writing another one, so there's that. And I'm getting the feeling that the last chapter I wrote might turn out to be the hardest of the whole story, which makes me cautiously optimistic that I'm going to fare better in March.
