Discussion: new month. As we're at the start of a new month (how? already?) what are you planning to work on this month? this week? any deadlines looming? anything going to get in the way?

I has no words today and barely have enough brain for moving let alone anything else. First day back at work after a week off.

The plan is to get the seven fic backlog posted, prod around with my only WIP this month and for this week try to post at least one fic from that backlog. No looming deadlines for anything, so I can pretty much go with my own pace.

Nothing written yet today, but we'll see if I produce anything before bedtime.

I have a lot going on this month for writing. One of the challenge communities I participate in has a special focus in March every year, and there are prompts galore posted daily throughout the month. I already have some exciting look prompts nabbed (which I am making notes for), and there will be more posted shortly. Not to mention the few WIPs I have from last March's challenge that I haven't completed yet... Anyway, I'm excited. Sometimes having something new to stir the inspiration helps with the stalled WIPs, too, so I'm looking forward to a lot of fic writing.

What will get in the way is the quarterly newsletter for my work, which I'm in charge of. It's writing, too, but it's not as fun. I need to get it out for printing by midmonth, so it hopefully won't hinder me too much in my writing pursuits this month!

Still thinking about the next chapter of my WIP, still not started writing yet. Ideas are popping up, that's good, but I need to get them into a coherent arc.

I'll be working on the next chapter of my WIP in March and hopefully get the first draft out. I'd also like to start posting since the first two chapters don't need a lot of work anymore.

Apart from that, I'm considering taking a summer bingo. It's a multi media bingo, so it's a good opportunity to draw stuff when I'm not in the mood for writing. Haven't decided yet.

I did write today (well, yesterday, now), even if it was only a little bit that was mostly toilet humor. It's still something.

My big thing for this month is that there are two challenges I intend to set up and run. Exciting, but I don't know how well it's going to work, heh.
