I've been reading some of the posts and resources listed in the sticky at the head of the community. It's been time well spent. Thank you for collecting them, mods! Yesterday, the first 300 words or so were like blood from a stone as I reminded myself that if they were terrible they could be deleted later, but at least the story was moving forward. Then, around reaching my minimal word count for the day, things started to flow and I wrote about 1000 words that I'm actually happy about!

Looking at my drafts and story ideas, almost everything is a "fix-it" in some way. That's what happens when your favourites keep getting killed off. I mean, there's a reason I have this icon. *sobs into wine glass*

The plan was to continue on my current project, but I may take a break to participate in [livejournal.com profile] femslashbb's wlw positivity commenthaton (Warning: link to SPOILERS for last night's The 100).
