WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 11 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Sorry to miss yesterday -- I had no internet for about 24 hours, which was annoying.  The repairman came and now we're back on track.  What kind of writing days have you had the last couple of days?  How is today going so far for writing?

•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion:  Is there any particular grammar point or type of punctuation you struggle with while you are writing?

I am basically just collecting writing prompts at the moment, but I hope to be writing this weekend. Today might end up being a early start to the weekend, which will be welcome, so maybe I'll get some writing in yet today, if I don't fritter my time away on the internet.

I'm pretty good with grammar and punctuation, but I do tend to use dashes and semicolons a bit much. I think I use them appropriately, but I over-use them!

Semi-colons. Sometimes I just want to use them all the time, and sometimes I don't use them, when I really should.
