WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 27 -- Sunday

Greetings at the beginning of a new week, the last week of our March WIP Challenge month!  linaewen here to help encourage you and provide you with a setting to talk about your writing as we finish up the month and start a new one.

What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion - Is there anything you think you'll do differently this coming week in your writing to have a greater impact on what you accomplish as we finish up the month? Or anything you'll keep on doing because you had a wonderfully successful week last week?

I have been essentially taking a break -- life is too much with me, these days! What I need to do differently is to make sure I write first thing in the morning, even if it's only for an hour. That way I'll make some progress, rather than waiting until I have a larger block of time at the end of the day, but being too tired or having things come up that interfere with writing.

Planning again. I've been doing a lot of that as of late, sometimes a bit half-heartedly, but it's still something.

My plan for April (aside from doing the fic_promptly Challenge Week, starting tomorrow) is to be a lot more organized about what challenges to do and when to do them. Going to block out time a little more intelligently than I have been; there's always room for improvement.
