Hello on Thursday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?
  •     I thought about my fic once or twice
  •     I wrote
  •     I did some planning and/or research
  •     I edited
  •     I've sent my fic off to my beta
  •     I posted today!
  •     I'm taking a break
  •     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Discussion:  Is it helpful for you to declare a writing goal for the month?  Does it help keep you more on track than if you didn't declare a goal?

That said, have you signed up for April's challenge yet?  Go here to do so:  http://writethisfanfic.dreamwidth.org/518183.html

Wrote a bit and outlined yesterday. I've set aside some writing time for today, hopefully I can iron out my timeline and scenes between point A and B.

I thought it was helpful early on in the month to have a writing goal, but I set it too high considering the amount of RL responsibilities demanding my attention. As I fell behind, the goal became almost intimidating to think about... April will have a more managable objective.

I wrote. Mostly drabbling, but it'll still end March on a higher note than I expected.

For me, having a monthly goal does help (see: [community profile] inkingitout), but it also shows me that I have a lot of room for improvement. That's why we're all here, right?
